We love the Northlake Police Department. They patrol our neighborhood all the time and they are so friendly. They are very involved with our community and do a great job interacting with the kids. By far this is the best police department I know of.
I live in this town and honestly, I'm consider moving since it doesn't respect the small amount of tax payers it has. The PD isn't fighting crime, only wearing a uniform. A few officers with a checkered past, and very fancy cars, isn't who should get paid by my measly teachers salary. Beware if your considering moving there. I once needed protection in a custody situation, but they didn't even know who should go or if they should help. Protect and serve, not really....
honesty this is a town that will take full advantage of any one it can. be advised if you have to deal with any one who works in the front counter they will lie and destroy documents to cover it up.
Ever need non emergency officer its always down past since december 2016 maybe longer with error 99 hangs up on you 24/7. When try hard not call 911 in domestic situation not sure how handle. Want ask questions. A 911 opperator officer say one thing. A tall white male officer dark hair hazel or dark green eyes fit shape cop judges females from start situation says he seen worse when she keeps normally ocd clean. Not that bad... Abuise just has stay due married so police officers consistently contridict each other... And laws given... Already give new ones. By own judgement.... Personal issues can tell.if your smart then they thinm or give credit past training before army injury... But there two side coin every time these people its roller coster who trust knows right from wrong information when comes marriage and domesic issues actually happening.
